School Clubs

Sport is a key part of life at our school. We encourage children to take part in as wide a variety of sports as possible, to keep them fit, help them learn new skills and to build confidence, team work and to enjoy themselves!

During the school week children have at least two hours of sport. We also take part in Sports Partnership activities, which have involved children from all sporting abilities, as well as activities for gifted and talented children.

Through our numerous clubs children have access to more sports and specialist teaching including tag rugby, football, multi-sports, dance and athletics. We also have football and netball teams that compete against local teams. Our children take part in a range of competitive sports with local schools throughout the year.

Every half term we change these clubs to allow pupils to experience a breadth of activities.

Children sign up for the clubs, and to ensure that as many children as possible have a chance to attend at least one club, we work hard to make sure that places are allocated fairly.
